OpenWater Works With We Serve, Inc. to Verify & Execute Annual Awards Program

This year we’ve partnered with a great organization that recognizes veteran charities and the benefits they’re providing to veterans. Check out our press release for more information, orginially seen on PRWeb:

The We Serve Awards has partnered with OpenWater, a cloud-based awards program software provider, giving them an active role in providing the infrastructural support the program requires. OpenWater is using its awards management software to administer and monitor the nomination and voting process, to ensure its impartiality.

The purpose of the awards program is to recognize veteran non-profit organizations that veterans feel have provided true value and healing to them. By contracting with a neutral third party (OpenWater), We Serve, Inc. was able to guarantee that veterans’ voices be heard and their nominations recognized without outside influence.

OpenWater has maintained oversight throughout the nomination and now voting process. Once the voting period is complete, OpenWater will notify the Chairman of the Board of We Serve, Inc. of each category’s winners. The winning organizations will be honored at the Annual We Serve Veterans Day Tribute on November 8, 2014.
